About

Welcome to The Bolt, Edison High School’s print and virtual publication. As student journalists, we strive to cover a wide range of topics, including sports, culture, politics, and more!  Through our writings, we hope to promote discussion and raise community awareness within the student body.

At The Bolt, we aim to make the paper the best it can be. We would love to hear any comments and suggestions you would like to share! Feel free to leave your feedback (including letters to the editor) on the Suggestions Page. The implementation of reader input is one of our main goals. If you are interested in submitting a Reader Response to an article, then just leave a comment with the title of the article you are responding to at the top.  We will not use all Reader Responses, but if we feel that you have a valid point to make and/or an interesting opinion to express, we may include your response in the next issue of The Bolt.

The Bolt is open for the free expression of staff writers and editors. The opinions expressed in The Bolt are solely those of individual student authors, and are not necessarily reflective of the views of all Bolt contributors, Edison High School teachers and administration, or the Huntington Beach Union High School District.

The writers and editors of The Bolt members aim to create an error-free publication, relaying accurate information to the Edison community. If any errors are found following publication, these will be corrected. In the event of a substantial error, a formal notification will be posted.

As always, thank you for reading! We could not continue to publish this content without your support!
